National Economic Issues

National Economic Issues:
a. Micro-economic issues 
  1. Issue price and the highest price basis, which aims to protect manufacturers. 
  2. Increased rice demand, to deal with the government to import rice. 
  3. Increase the price of fuel oil (BBM), the government cope with the transport entrepreneurs to adjust the general rate. 
  4. The problem of monopoly, of measures taken by the government to make regulations namely Law No. 5 of 1999 concerning the prohibition of monopolistic practices and unfair business competition. 
  5. The problem of distribution, the government and the private policy is to shorten the distribution channel.

b. Macroeconomic Issues 
  1. The problem of population
  2. The population is very large
  3. The rate of rapid population growth
  4. The composition of the population that are not profitable because a large number of very young age
  5. The uneven spread of population
  6. Flow of urbanization is relatively high
1) To overcome this problem the government made the policy as follows: 
  • Controlling the birth rate with family planning programs. 
  • Reduce maternal mortality and child through family nutrition program. 
  • Organize local and nasonal transmigration program for the distribution of population distribution.
  • Carrying out projects in the region as well as labor-intensive projects to improve living standards.
 2) The problem of poverty 
Poverty is the state manifesti deficiency in meeting their daily needs. To fix the government made the policy as follows:
a) Policy Development Trilogy
b) Presidential Policy Villages
c) Granting KMKP
d) Special Intensification Policies
e) Empowerment Cooperative
f) Granting KUK
g) Integrated Business Development
h) Mr Transport Program for Small Business.
3) The problem of underdevelopmentProblem of underdevelopment that stand out are: 
education, health, science and technology, the mental attitude of economic, population and economy.
4) Problems of jobsThe cause of unemployment is: 
  • The low quality and quality manpower both from education, skills and science and technology
  • Many graduates of secondary education and PT are not balanced with the number of jobs. 
To overcome these problems issue government policy as follows:
a) Improved quality of education
b) The provision of courses in skills
c) Equitable development
d) labor intensive projects
e) Granting credits small and medium enterprises.
5) Problems equitable development Eight point policy of equitable distribution by the government as follows:
a) Equitable many people's basic needs, especially food, clothing and board.
b) Equitable educational opportunities and health services
c) Equitable distribution of income
d) Equal opportunities
e) Equal opportunity to participate in development, especially the younger generation and women.
f) Equitable development throughout the region homeland.
g) Equal opportunity to obtain justice.
